Melinda Stone has an eye for color, decorating and placement. She is extremely visual which gives her the natural ability to know how to place furniture and accessories to make any room look balanced, scaled, color coordinated and stylish. Melinda has been the go to person for color and decorating decisions for years. Her natural gift for arrangement and color is what prompted her to get an accreditation and begin her home decorating & staging business. Melinda is an artist who has a good eye to pick out just the right color, furniture or accessories to compliment any style. Her parents saw her gift for art as a young child and enrolled her in art classes at a very early age, so art has been a natural part of her entire life. Melinda enhanced all of her natural skills with her art classes throughout her school years, Associates of Arts Degree and her Certified Accreditation in Home Staging and Redesign. She can stage your home to sell quickly or decorate your home to bring out your very favorite tastes, styles and colors that will have you loving your home.

Melinda Stone has a vast amount of past experience. She has been a small business owner and operator since 1990 and involved in and on boards and associations in schools, church and business. She can help with any paint selection, including: wall color, faux wall treatments and one wall mural to a full room mural. She also has skills in floral and greenery design and arranging, including: weddings, home accents, centerpieces and party decorating themes from small events to very large banquets or receptions. Melinda also has 8 years experience in fashion retail, including: sales, buying, management, window displays and bookkeeping.  She has even designed outdoor areas including front yard landscape, pool landscape, outdoor plant and floral design, outdoor kitchen, dining and living room spaces. The outdoor rooms went from a blank dirt canvas all the way to area choice, stone flooring selection, landscape design, then ultimately furniture and outdoor accessory choices and placement.  Melinda also has experience in interior remodeling and room redesign, including appliance, cabinet, counter top and floor selection. She has even decorated for party themes and designed and decorated large stage areas.

Melinda is not afraid to travel, as she was one of the youngest flight attendants, at age 20, to ever pass and attain her wings with American Airlines.

Melinda is a self-starter, very dependable, honest, friendly, understanding and true to her word. She is very easy to work with. Just name it and it will be done!

Melinda Stone resides in Allen, TX with her family. She has been married since 1986 to her teenage sweetheart and they have 2 very talented boys who are students and sponsored skateboarders.
